ladies and gentlemen, a new blog

If I still have any readers left after my overlong sabbatical from this blog, I’d like to direct their attention to a new blog at the site of the Native Plant Society of Texas.  I helped get this started and will continue to be involved in running the site, which partly explains my absence here.

The NPSOT blog hopes to attract a number of different writers, the main stipulation being that posts should relate primarily to Texas and of course native plants.   I think most of the readers here will appreciate the writing.  For now no comments are allowed but that could come later.  If you are not already familiar with NPSOT, I hope you’ll also take the opportunity to learn a little about the organization itself, and maybe even spend a few bucks on a membership or a donation.

As for myself I’ve also been busy with community project work to meet my master gardening volunteer hour requirement.  I’ll write a little about that and my personal projects later.
