Looking for more gardening blogs? There are several very good lists available so the best thing I can do is to just point you to them. One of the more comprehensive is the directory at Cold Country Gardening. Kathy tries to include everybody and has short descriptions of many of them. I also find myself referring to the list on the sidebar at Pam Penick’s blog Digging or the one at Zanthan Gardens. Another interesting resource is the map at Blotanical, where you can locate gardening blogs near you or wherever you might have an interest.
If you are more interested in finding place blogs or nature blogs, I am not aware of any lists like those for gardening. A couple of nature blogs that I follow are Rurality and Roundrock Journal. You might also like the blogs written by my friends at Texas Trifles and Life after Nexcom, which don’t fit into any obvious categories.
If you are looking for information about native plants in Texas let me suggest several good sites. Texas Native Shrubs and Texas Native Trees are good places to identify plants, as is the Noble Foundation Plant Gallery. If you can’t find what you want at one of those places you might ask Mr Smarty Plants. And if you really want to know more about native plants why not join the Native Plant Society of Texas, and become an expert yourself?
