maximilian sunflowers

With all the rain we have had lately, the maximilians are too top-heavy to stand up.

are all those flowers on one stalk or is the perspective skewed?

Maximilians tend to have multiple flowers along the stalk. In this picture there is one main stalk that is lying down from upper right to lower left. Does this answer your question Mary Lou.

Last week they were fairly upight but with fewer flowers. Since then we have had mostly cloudy days with lots of rain.

So I don't know if it the weight of the flowers or raindrops, or if they are reaching out for more sun; but they are all lying down now.

You need rain lilies and schoolhouse lilies for your garden.
