We installed a Christmas tree in the house over the weekend which served to remind me that it is time to get cracking and get my shopping done. So today I stopped at the bookstore on the way home and crossed a few obligations off the list.

Soon I will make my annual visit to the mall. There is really nothing that requires me to shop at the mall, I just like to go there to see the decorations and watch the people when it is crowded at Christmastime.

Most men wait until the day before Christmas, and then like a log hit them on the head, they remember that they have to shop for their wives/girlfriends. We used to just sit back and laugh at the motions men went through trying to buy presents. It is a real hoot!!!

But of course you aren't like that are you!

Once upon a time I enjoyed the mall too. Not so much anymore. Too many teenagers and screaming kids.
I've noticed I feel that way about a lot of things lately.
