I have been trying without success to put captions under pictures. I am sure somebody out there knows how.

Update: Thanks to Kathy of Cold Climate Gardening for the instructions for the captions. See the comment.

This is how I had to do it: Each photo goes in its own 1-row, 1-column table. (Tables can have captions.) You can specify where the caption goes with the caption tag. (I tried to give you the format for the caption tag, but it was stripped out. If you need it, email me.) Then, if you want them to line up in a row, each of those tables gets put in another table that is one row and however many columns as you have photos. This is what I did for my post about the peonies (http://weblog.coldclimategardening.com/archives/2003_07.html#000147). You can view the source code and if your source-code-viewer has a "Find" feature, tell it to look for 000147 and you'll get right to the place where it starts. If anyone has a better way, I'd like to know about it, but that's all I could figure out, with the help of my 21-year-old son, Rundy.
