I’m back after ten days of camping, canoeing and fishing in Quetico Provincial Park. Lots of incredibily beautiful scenery and plenty of walleye and bass to eat every night around a campfire. There were nine of us in our group, organized by my friend Starr Bowen, who brought along a pair of his own hand-built wooden canoes.
I’m wading through my emails but it’s going to take awhile to get caught up on the blog reading.

wow, now that is a pretty picture.
Reminds me of a classic wooden Old Town canoe we used to have at our house in N. Michigan. I spent a lot of days..and nights paddling that around.
Every once in a while a man just needs to get away and it certainly looks like you picked a great spot.
Gorgeous photo, Bill. I am pea green. Never heard of the place, but I am looking forward to seeing some more photos!
