		<description>We spotted a roadkill armadillo just south of Topeka, Kansas, in August, 2006.  Either someone set a pet loose or it somehow immigrated this far north.  I think if I encountered one unexpectedly, I would jump out of my skin.  They are a piece of work.</description>

		<description>Bill! I bought a big ol' stuffed/taxidermied armadillo for my  best friend.  I got it when I lived in Corpus.  She still has it on her fireplace hearth.  Named it Wanda Hickey.  I would LOVE to see that baby 'dilla up close.....thanks so much for sharing the photo.
