Aaack! I filled my tank Sunday afternoon and gas was up to $2.99 at our local station.

At least our old jalopy still gets about 30 miles per gallon. But maybe it’s time for me to think about how to stretch it a little more. Fellow blogger Linda who comments here regularly has some ideas about how to do this.

A site called The Simple Dollar has a long list of money saving ideas that also help the environment. I discovered this blog a couple months ago and I can’t get enough of it. I like to help the environment but I love to save my money.

Yahoo Green has even more ideas on how to go green and many of them save money too. I see several easy things that I could do.
