an artist’s garden

img_7568.JPG

This garden belongs to an artist who likes bright colors and antiques. The photo was taken from inside through a screened window.

Some people have an ability to order their world in a harmonious and visually pleasing way.   I could take all these same objects  and they would just look like junk and clutter in my home.

    Cobalt blue, my favorite glasswork.

What an enjoyable photo, and a charming garden.

  2. I do so admire people with the knack of organizing clutter and turning it into something aesthetically pleasing. I really like using found objects, too, either natural ones like rocks and stumps or human-made ones. I think it calls on the fantasies of childhood when we built fairy houses out of acorns and leaves.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot. I too love the way people can make “Garden junk” look so artistic and beautiful!
