The last full moon of winter is called the Lenten Moon according to my calendar. If you were far enough east perhaps you saw it fully eclipsed this evening.
This photo was taken without a tripod. Someday I hope to get one so I can take a good shot of the moon reflecting across the lake.
By the way, this week will mark the fourth anniversary of this blog. It’s still fun after all this time. A special thank you to my readers who help keep it that way.

We saw that beautiful orange moon too, though not over so picturesque a setting. Nice shot.
Great capture. We all ran out to see the eclipse, too, but it was quickly obscured by clouds.
I heard about the lunar eclipse this morning, so I missed it, but several bloggers have posted pictures. And congratulations on your four years of blogging!
What a gorgeous picture! And congratulations on your fourth blogiversary…
Awesome shot! I wrote the date/time of the eclipse on my calendar but totally forgot about it. Don’t you just wish you had a 5000X zoom on nights like that?
Happy 4th!
I enjoy your posts and pictures also.
That’s lovely, Bill.
Congratulations, Bill - not just on the number ‘4′ but on still finding it to be fun.

My 4 year anniversary was last month, and I totally forgot! Time does fly when you are having fun doesnt it?
We had clouds, and were too far west/North to see it anyway.
Hey, happy big 4! I just remembered mine is about the same age.
Yep, its still fun - thanks to folks like you and Trish!
Congrats on your 4 year blog anniversary……….
I had hoped to catch the eclipse but, unfortunately, we had cloudy skies here in St. Louis - no sun, no moon!!!!!
Although I have not commented recently, I still read/look at your blog with enjoyment. I too am happy to hear you’re still enjoying it after 4 years.
