This little fellow would like to become our friend, I think.  He watches us from afar when we are out at the lake on weekends.  And around mealtimes he comes a little closer.  He stays at least arm’s length away and waits warily for a handout, which he always gets because we are so soft-hearted.

He may have a home of his own.  We’ve seen him once in the yard of a house on the road to our place.  And he is in awful nice shape for a feral cat.  From the blue eyes and markings I would say he is a “ragdoll” or at least a mixture with that breed.

This is how we come by all our beloved felines. Our vet calls our place Kitty Heaven. Extremely handsome fellow there.

They always seem to know who they can adopt, don’t they? What a gorgeous cat.

Last summer when we went away for a few days to stay in a cabin in British Columbia, I invited the owners’ dogs to come in and spend some time with us. I miss having a dog and was thrilled to be able to borrow a couple for a while.

Got myself into trouble, I did. They advertise their units as pet-free for people with allergies. Oops.

I was just gonna say he looks like a ragdoll!! If so I am very surprised his owners let him outside!! Those cats are VERY expensive!! I would love to own one.

A co-worker tells me that it is a Birman and not a ragdoll. He has two of them at home so I Guess he should know.
