I’ve probably mentioned before that I’ve been having a problem lately with a kidney stone. Wednesday I had a surgical procedure called “lithotripsy” where they blasted me with shock waves to break up the stone. Since then I have mostly been lying around in sunny spots with a cat sitting on my chest while I doze or read. It’s nice doing nothing.

You know, laying around in sunny spots with a cat on your chest when you doze, doesn’t sound half bad.
Hope you’re feeling right as rain soon.
I told you rock-biting was a nasty habit…*grin*
Hope you are better soon. Sounds rather painful.
Like this blog. How do I log on?
Sounds like a lot of pain!! did it go away? Enjoy the sun. To get warm here I have to sit on my bed under the electric blanket with 4 cats and the dog on top of me.
I Have A 12mm Stone In My Right Kidney And A 5mm In The Left. I Am Having Lithotripsy On Monday 4-3. I Am So Scared. Do Ur Kidneys Feel Like Mike Tyson Beat Them Afterwards, Should I Expect Pain?
Amy: Actually there is very little pain from the procedure. I could feel the after-effects of the anesthesia for a couple days though.
Ivan: Hi, cuz! Enjoyed your great series on Tales from Elm Flat.
Hey, Im Having A 2nd Lithotripsy Today 4 12. The 1st One Left 3 Pretty Big Fragments And Im Still In Pain. The Procedure Was Painless As U Said BUT Had The Worst Feeling Of Having To Go Pee For 6 Hours After. Im Not Looking Forward To That Later Today. That Feeling Was Just Unbelievable. Did U Experience That As Well?
