I was going to recount some of my experience with Hurricane Alicia from when I lived in Houston, but after watching the newscasts yesterday I realized they would sound like I was at a picnic. Incredible. We just don’t realize the extent to which we are at the mercy of nature.

Trying to imagine the horror that all those people are suffering certainly puts a damper on my complaining about our weather.

Bodies floating in the water are being left, looters are rampant, GOD things are horrible!!
