We are actually getting a light but welcome rain this fourth of july afternoon. The parched lawn and garden really need it.
We had a very traditional holiday weekend. Joined the neighbors for a fish fry down at the volunteer fire department. Sipped cool drinks out on the deck while watching an impressive fireworks display put on by somebody on the other side of the lake.
The flag quilt is one of Tricia’s creations, made to order for a relative and due to be delivered later in the month.

Love the heart tracery!
Excellent piece.
WOW, you’ve got good eyes! Thanks, Jenn. Hope he sees the hearts as love quilted in.
Man Tricia, I envy you! I need to get back to putting my Mom’s quilt together. I got stopped by Playhouse and Blogging. Not enought time in my retired day to do everything that I want to do. ANd no money to do it either.
That quilt is Lovely!!
She does such beautiful work.
If ever I visited the U.S., I think the 4th would be a great day to do it.
That’s a keeper (both the quilt and Trish!)
