We are back home from Atchison, Kansas, following our third funeral in six months. This time it was our last parent. Now Tricia and I are both orphans.
After his own wife had passed away, Tricia’s dad sold everything and bought an RV to migrate north and south with the seasons between Kansas and south Texas. He grew tired of the drive in the last couple years and became a year-round Texan. Most of the last year he spent scanning photos from the family album, planning to make copies on CD for everyone. I think he mostly finished the scans but never burned any discs. I am going to try and finish it up for him if I can.
