lakehouse

Another reason we’ve been busy lately - we’ve just bought a cabin on a lake. It’s a small house but it has a space that can be converted into a studio for Tricia’s quilt-making plus five acres of woods and a barn for me to putter around in. It also has this great view from the deck. We closed on it last week.

Congratulations to the two of you! What a beautiful spot that is. What a dream come true for so many, to have a home away from home, surrounded by such beauty. I’m sure she’ll love working on her projects out there. I can just picture myself, feet up on the deck, working on a cross-stitch picture, sipping an iced tea.

    Sigh.

How wonderful. That’s a lovely view. Personally, I would much, much rather have a place on a lake than the ocean. I know you all will enjoy it for many years.
