Lovely picture! The blue is such a nice contrast against the green. Of course, the butterfly is pretty.

So beautiful…………..I had very few monarchs this year due to destruction of my butterfly garden from 2 hailstorms- the garden just didn’t come back ……..hopefully next year will be better!! I did manage to get a few pics of a monarch, a black swallowtail and a tiger swallowtail……………I make notecards with my butterfly pics to give to friends & relatives as Christmas gifts - I think I may have enough pics to make them this year………………I must tell you that I will be traveling on a photography tour to the Galapagos Islands in November…………I am so excited about this trip as I think I will be able to get some fantastic photos………….there will be 2 professional photogs aboard the ship to guide us, give lectures, help with photo problems, etc………this is a chance of a lifetime!!!!!!

Your garden photos are so welcome this time of year. We, as Leslie has noted, are coming into the dreary time of rain and cold, forerunning the snows.

Ageratum and monarchs are just the tonic.
