I pull up too many of them from the garden as it is. But it is a nice tree. This is the tree that the city of Baton Rouge is named for.
You and flax (Beyond Depth of Field) post such great pictures of simple things you find in your back yard.
They look prettier in your picture than they usually do hanging on a redbud tree in summer. I think they usually look like “natural” disasters. Photographs can transform.
