I am suffering rose envy! I once had a Zepherine Drouhin -- and hope to again, by this time next year. You will love it. Like you guys, I love the strong rose scents. Please write about how they grow (and pictures, too!)

I have 'Ducher' and I love it, although it seems to bloom best in cool weather. Its scent is very lemony-citrus and the new foliage has a strong reddish tint.

I also have 'Buff Beauty' but it's been slow to get started. I'm hoping this will be its year to put on a show. Ditto with 'Prosperity' which is putting out a lot of new growth now, but also suffering a bit from black spot. I've been hooked on old roses ever since I drove over to the Antique Rose Emporium near Brenham.
