Jeff Quayle will be leading an iNaturalist BioBlitz at Rock Creek Ranch Park in far SW Tarrant Co., which is the City of Fort Worth’s newest park acquisition.
The park won’t open to the public for another 4-5 years. Development around DFW is increasing, so saving Fort Worth’s open space is critical to preserve what’s left of the Fort Worth Prairie. At 270 acres, Rock Creek Ranch Park will be one of the largest parks in Fort Worth with remaining native prairie. If you want to help participate in recording iNaturalist observations, which will benefit data for the City of Fort Worth Parks Dept.,
